“The Madrigals are an extraordinary family that lives in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical place called the Encanto. Mirabel is the only child who has not been blessed by Encanto’s magic. She soon discovers, however, that the Encanto magic is in danger.
Disney Animated Studios produced Encanto, an American computer-animated musical fantasy & comedy film. It was released in 2021. Encanto, directed by Jared Bush & Byron Howard and co-directed by Charise Castro Smith, was produced by Yvett Melino & Clark Spencer. It is one of the most iconic films of the year.

Hamilton’s Lin Manuel Miranda wrote the original songs for this production. The El Capitan Theatre, Los Angeles, hosted the premiere of this Disney film on November 3, 2021. Due to the pandemic, it was only published in American theaters for a 30-day theatrical run. Although Encanto may have struggled at the box office, it received positive reviews and was highly praised by the public.

Disney+
Encanto, which has been available on Disney+ since December 24th, is no surprise. Other movies and shows will be available on Disney+, including Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar. You can also stream from ESPN and National Geographic. You’ll find a variety of titles to choose from for movie nights and binge-watching.
The current subscription to the Disney streaming platform costs $7.99 per month or $79.99 annually.
Netflix
Netflix is the first place to look for Encanto outside of Disney+. Unfortunately, Encanto isn’t yet available on the streaming giant. However, you can access Netflix’s vast library of films and shows, including other titles, with different subscription prices depending on which plan you have.
You have the choice of choosing the $8.99 per monthly basic plan, $13.99 for the standard plan and $17.99 for the premium plan.
HBO Max
Unfortunately, Disney’s Encanto cannot be streamed on HBO Max. HBO Max, like other streaming services, offers a wide range of movies and shows for $9.99 per month with an ad-supported subscription and $14.99 with an ad-free option.

Hulu
Hulu does not currently offer Encanto. You can still access many of their other titles with the basic plan, which costs $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year. The platform currently hosts the final season of NBC’s This Is Us. Keep an eye out for the season 2 premiere of Reservation Dogs, which will air sometime in the new year.
Amazon Prime Video
A slight twist to the trend, Disney’s Encanto can now be purchased on Amazon Prime Video. The film can be purchased for $19.99 Unfortunately, the platform won’t allow you to rent the film.
